"Taste the Difference" with Sainsbury’s and Amcor PushPop

Amcor PushPop, the easy-open and fun-shaped flexible pack, has been chosen by major UK retailer Sainsbury’s and Kinnerton Confectionery for the launch of the new Sainsbury’s Taste The Difference range of confectionery.

“We selected this style of packaging for our new range of chocolate covered fruits and nuts because it provides a modern packaging solution for a treat product within the own brand confectionery offering at Sainsbury’s” commented Lucy Clark, Product Developer – Confectionery for Sainsbury’s.

Today’s consumers want easy to open packaging solutions, which can be opened without using a knife or scissors or spilling the contents when opening. Amcor’s PushPop allows the consumer to simply push in the special perforation on the top side, pop the pack open and enjoy the new Taste the Difference range. Thanks to this wide opening, the Amcor PushPop is ideal packaging for a broad range of products that are consumed directly from the pack.

The stackable and stand-up Amcor PushPop offers excellent on shelf product differentiation as the entire surface can be printed, including the top and bottom of the pack, enabling companies to easily differentiate their product on the shelves.
